
A warm welcome awaits anyone who visits our pristine fishing lakes, situated just outside the market town of Northallerton, Breathtaking environments and more fish than you can ever hope to catch truly makes Parklands an outstanding place to visit.
Parklands accommodates 2 fishing lakes with 52 fishing platforms, We have 1 lake called Kingfisher which we have just changed to a fly lake, we have just stocked it with an abundance of trout ranging from 1-4lb. The new ticket prices for this are on the right hand side. Please check our new rules for the trout fishery. (hyperlink to a rules page )
We also have Parklands lake which is a long canal style lake with plenty of feeder and float pegs with 2 islands accomodating poles upto all lengths, the biggest carp we have had out is 19lb 6oz and there is a large abundance of roach in our lakes.
We have a large variety of fish including - Carp, Roach, Rudd, Chub, Barbel, Bream, Golden Orf, Trout.
The size of our fish varie quite alot, we have a large range of carp between 1-15lbs and there a few specials nearing on the 20lb mark,
We have a large quanity of roach ranging from 1-4lb and if you are aiming for the roach then you will be sat there all day pulling them in.
We also have a few river fish in like Barbel and Chub which the biggest barbel we have had out is 6lb 1oz and biggest chub is 4lb these are lovley fish and put up a hell of a fight just like catching them in the river.
There is also quite alot of decent perch in our lakes which when you get one in you know about it.
The fishing lakes are open all year round from 7am until 9pm 7 days a week, Tickets are available on the bankside or via reception between 9am & 5pm.
There is a fully established toilet block near the 2 lakes, which is designed for anglers also ajoined to it is our very own cafe "Peg 53" which can serve all your basic hot drinks and hot food and allow you to not go hungry while you are fishing on our banks.
